There were fifty four (54) babies who were baptized last October 5, 2014, Sunday, on the feast of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, patron saint of the parish. The actual feast was on the first day of October but the parish traditionally celebrates it on the first Sunday. Many parents prefer to have their children baptized on special occasions like this for economical reason. They have two parties in one, the parish feast and the “Christening” of their child.
